PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Texas Silencer Company Scoundrel, machined from a mix of lightweight titanium and hardened stainless steel is ready to handle a lifetime of shooting with even the harshest rimfire ammo. The fine folks over at Texas Silencer have informed us that the Scoundrel will make your .22 “sound like a barn cat sneezing.” We fancy ourselves more of a cowdog kind of company so we’re assuming that barn cats don’t sneeze very loudly!
Shooting any .22LR through a suppressor can be a messy business, so we love the idea of a monocore rimfire silencer that only has 3 pieces. Simple to disassemble may not sound like a very important design feature, but believe us… it most certainly is. And those who have other suppressors with too many parts – well, bless their hearts. When it’s time to clean your gear after a long day on the range, you can rest assured that the Scoundrel is as easy as they come.
FURTHER INTEL
Texas Silencer Company mills the monocore style symmetrical baffles from the same piece of stainless steel as the threads on the rear of the suppressor. This makes removing the silencer from a stubborn host firearm a cinch. The retaining cap is easily removed from the core by way of an included wrench, and the titanium tube simply slides off the rear of the silencer. After all, cowboys don’t have any time to waste! This suppressor’s simple design is what John Wayne would have called “cowboy logic.”
